Sarah Jane Burke began playing piano at age five. She had a handful of piano lessons, but is mostly self-taught. She took up guitar at about age 11, mostly inspired by The Beatles, and other "British Invasion" acts. She began writing songs at around age 12, playing in bands at 13, and by 17, she'd taught herself to compose full scores. She's been composing, recording, and performing ever since.
